One venue or every site

Start with one venue. Grow to every site.

The same platform for a single cafe and a 30-site group. You choose how much of it you use.

Running a venue

  • Seven email starters and 24 survey starters to begin from
  • An offer set up in three steps, with a live phone preview
  • Texts and WhatsApp on your own Twilio account, with no Purple markup
  • A free plan listed at 500 credits a month, with unlimited* contacts and no card

  • Venue time zones, with sends going out at each guest's local time
  • A public API with 31 paths, 14 scopes and signed webhooks
  • An append-only audit record, written in the same step as the action it records
  • Two production regions on Google Cloud, in the Netherlands and Los Angeles

One system

Your guest is in seven tools. None of them knows she has stopped coming.

Engage keeps one record, one consent ledger, one way of measuring and one approval rule underneath every channel, so each channel you add starts with what the others already know.

Your stack today

  • Email tool: Who opened
  • Text tool: A mobile number
  • WiFi: Who arrived
  • Till: Who paid
  • Booking system: Who reserved
  • Reviews tool: Who rated you
  • Ad platform: A list someone uploaded

One guest record in Engage

Visits, sales, bookings, messages and answers on one history, matched on email.

  • One guest record

WiFi sign-ins, till sales, bookings, forms and files in one history, matched on email.

  • One consent ledger

Checked at approval and again just before each message. An opt-out stays an opt-out, whatever you import.

  • One way of measuring

Where a holdout is set, guests sent a campaign are compared with guests held back on purpose, with a 95% range or "not measured yet".

  • One approval rule

By default, nothing your AI team stages reaches a guest or spends a pound until a person approves that exact action.

Engage is not a booking system, a points scheme, a payment provider or a cookie banner. It reads the systems you already run and works beside your consent tool.

Capture every guest, whichever door they came through

Every WiFi sign-in, sign-up form, till receipt, booking and file becomes a guest you can market to. Only an explicit opt-in counts as marketing consent: accepting the WiFi terms never does.

  • WiFiPurple WiFi and Juniper Mist, with Cisco Spaces and Cisco Meraki in pilot. Meraki and Mist send no consent by default.
  • Sign-up formsInline, pop-up or floating bar, installed with one line and always double opt-in.
  • TillsSquare, Epos Now and Loyverse, with Lightspeed X-Series and Oracle Simphony in pilot.
  • Bookings and staysResDiary bookings and hotel stays from Mews and apaleo, in pilot.
  • Files and APIsCSV import with a consent attestation, signed webhooks and a bulk API of 1,000 records a call.
  • No Purple WiFi?Engage also works without it.

Journeys

Automations that start when a guest does something real

22 triggers, including joining your WiFi, making a purchase, completing a booking and checking out of a stay. Then emails, texts, offers, webhooks and team alerts, with waits of up to 90 days.

Some of the 22 triggers

  • Joins your WiFi
  • Makes a purchase
  • Completes a booking
  • Checks out of a stay
  • Redeems an offer
  • Fills in a form
  • Joins a segment
  • Gets a tag
  • An API call

Your AI marketing team

An AI marketing team that asks before it acts

Every night Engage compares your business with its own normal and raises ideas with the rows behind them. Ask for something in a sentence and it stages a plan in your own editors.

  • Ideas with evidence

Nine checks every night, from lapsed regulars and welcome gaps to deliverability risk. Every figure on an idea is computed by the system, never by the AI.

  • Sends wait for your approval

By default, nothing reaches a guest until you approve it. The approval card shows how many guests the plan reaches after consent, named sample recipients and what cannot be undone. It is single-use and void if a word changes.

  • Ads stay in your hands

Ads are in pilot. The AI team can stage an ad draft but never launch or fund one. An outside AI assistant connected through Engage's MCP server can read and draft, never send.

  • Work you can measure

Email your AI team stages keeps a 5% held-back group, so you learn what the work caused.

Nine checks, every night

Rules, not guesses. Checks that read visits need a connected WiFi system; a venue without one still gets campaign, deliverability, journey and calendar ideas.

  • Lapsed regulars

Three or more WiFi visits in 90 days, and none in the last 30.

  • Welcome gap

New WiFi sign-ups with no welcome message within seven days.

  • Return-rate drop

The 45-day return rate well below its normal range.

  • Campaign outlier

Human opens or clicks far from usual within 72 hours of a send.

  • Send-time mismatch

Recent sends set against the hours this audience opens.

  • Journey leak

Completion drops sharply at one step of a journey.

  • Deliverability risk

Bounces above 5%, spam complaints above 0.1% or a worsening trend.

  • Quiet segment

A segment that grew 20% or more in 60 days with no sends.

  • Calendar gap

An event within 14 days and nothing planned.

Results

Prove what worked, not what was opened

Where a holdout is set, Engage grades a campaign against guests held back on purpose, with a range, or an honest "not measured yet".

The rules behind every result Engage reports

50 held back
The minimum before Engage reports a campaign result. With fewer, the card says "not measured yet".
95% range
Each measured result shows where the true effect is likely to sit. A/B tests say "Too close to call" unless the range clears zero.
14 / 30 days
Return visits and bookings are counted over 14 days, and sales over 30, for guests sent the campaign and guests held back alike.
  • Human opens firstApple Mail fetches images on its own and link scanners click links, so people are counted apart from machines, and machine traffic is shown beside them.

Reports that say what they do not know

Reports for campaigns, audience, automations, surveys and offers. "Not measured" is never shown as 0%.

Visits come from a connected WiFi system, so a measured return visit is a lower bound: guests who did not join the WiFi are not counted.

Trust and enterprise

Consent you can prove, and controls IT can approve

One consent ledger that every channel obeys. An opt-out stays an opt-out, whatever you import.

  • Consent checked twice

At approval and again just before each message. STOP closes the channel at once.

  • Opt-outs that stay

Imports, connectors, the API and the AI team cannot resubscribe a guest who opted out using older or undated evidence.

  • A preference centre

Topics, frequency and a 14, 30 or 90 day pause, honouring Global Privacy Control.

  • Erasure that stays erased

More than 30 registered routines, with tombstones so a replayed import cannot bring a person back.

  • An audit record

Append-only, written in the same step as the action, and kept for at least two years.

  • Sign in with Purple ID

Your team signs in through Purple ID, Purple's central identity.

  • Two production regions

Google Cloud europe-west4 in the Netherlands and us-west2 in Los Angeles. Email goes through the provider's EU region by default.

  • An open API

31 paths, 14 scopes and 600 requests a minute per key, with signed webhooks and hashed, scoped keys.

  • An MCP server

Outside AI tools can read and draft through Engage. No scope can send.

Engage is the consent authority for messaging and works beside your cookie banner, not instead of it.

Pricing

Pay for what you send, not for who you know

Plans are measured in credits. Contacts are unlimited* on every plan, so a bigger WiFi list never raises your bill on its own.

  • An email: 1 credit
  • A WhatsApp message: 1 credit
  • A text: 1 credit per segment
  • A survey invitation: 1 credit
  • An offer inside a message: no extra credit
  • Contacts: always free
  • Overage is off unless you turn it on, with a budget cap you set
  • A campaign that has started is never cut off part way

Questions

Questions buyers ask first

Do I need Purple WiFi?

No. Purple WiFi and Juniper Mist supply visits, with Cisco Spaces and Cisco Meraki in pilot, and you can also add guests from sign-up forms, tills, CSV imports and, in pilot, bookings. Engage works without Purple WiFi.

What does Purple Engage cost?

You pay for credits, the unit your plan's monthly allowance is measured in. Paid plans are listed from £12 a month for 5,000 credits, the free plan is listed at 500 credits a month, and contacts are unlimited* on every plan.

Which channels can I send on?

Email, SMS and WhatsApp, plus offers and surveys. Texts and WhatsApp go through your own Twilio account at Twilio's price, and Purple adds no markup.

Does the AI send anything on its own?

No. By default nothing your AI team stages reaches a guest or spends money until a person approves that exact action. It can stage an ad draft (ads are in pilot), but never launch or fund one.

How do you measure results?

Where a holdout is set, Engage compares guests sent a campaign with guests held back on purpose: return visits and bookings over 14 days and sales over 30, with a 95% range. With fewer than 50 held back, it says "not measured yet".

Can I keep Mailchimp, HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes. They sync guests both ways, so you can run Engage alongside them while you move over.

How is guest data protected?

Consent is checked at approval and again before each message, erasure reaches every registered routine and stays erased, connector credentials are kept under per-customer keys, and API keys are hashed and scoped.

What does Engage not do?

Engage is not a booking system, a points scheme, a payment provider or a cookie banner, and its rewards are vouchers rather than points or stamps. It reads the systems you already run.
