Turn a good night into a regular habit
Bring guests back for match days, quiz nights and a midweek catch-up. Run offers redeemed at Epos Now and Lightspeed tills and, where a holdout is set, see which campaigns brought guests in.

What can a pub do with Purple Engage?
Know walk-in guests from their WiFi sign-ins, not only the ones who book. Each night your AI team looks for regulars who have gone quiet, and any win-back it stages waits for you to approve. Tell guests about match days and quiz nights, run offers that only redeem in set hours, redeem them at Epos Now or Lightspeed tills, and record consent channel by channel.
- Match-day and quiz-night campaigns: the event email starter, sent at a set local time to guests who visited recently
- Walk-in guests known from WiFi sign-ins, even if they never booked or bought
- Offers redeemed at Epos Now and Lightspeed tills
- Double opt-in sign-up that keeps the wording each guest saw, recorded for each channel
How does Engage know who visits my pub?
Every guest WiFi sign-in becomes a contact with a visit history for each pub, and historic Purple WiFi guests are imported on setup. Till sales from Epos Now or Lightspeed X-Series add spend. Engagement stars count real visits and human actions, so you can see who is a regular and who is fading.
- WiFi sign-ins from Purple WiFi, Cisco Spaces, Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist
- A visit history for each pub, one visit per session
- Engagement stars: Champion, Loyal, Occasional, Fading and Dormant
How do I get guests back for the next big night?
Send the event email, or a text through your own Twilio account, to a segment such as guests who visited in the last 30 days. Add an offer that only redeems in a window, such as quiz night, with a cap per guest and a budget.
- Event email starter on your brand kit
- Offer redemption windows, caps per guest and budgets
- SMS through your own Twilio account, with a cost estimate against your spend cap before anything sends

How do I know a campaign brought guests in?
Where a holdout is set, Engage compares the guests a campaign was sent to with guests held back on purpose, and shows the extra share who came back or bought, with a range and takings for each group. Opens are reported as human opens first, with Apple Mail Privacy opens and link scanners shown apart, so machines do not inflate the numbers.
- The extra share of guests who came back or bought, against a held-back group, where a holdout is set
- Offer report with redemptions by venue and hour, and cost against budget
How does Engage handle consent for UK pubs?
Sign-up forms are always double opt-in and keep the wording each guest saw, and CSV imports record which channels the consent covers. The suppression list survives re-import, and guests can choose topics, take a break or leave in a branded preference centre.
- Double opt-in forms that keep the consent wording each guest saw
- A branded preference centre
- A suppression list that survives re-import
Questions
Can Engage help if my guests don't book?
Yes. Guest WiFi sign-ins become contacts with a visit history, so you know who walked in even if they never booked or bought. It works with Purple WiFi, and with Cisco Spaces, Cisco Meraki and Juniper Mist.
Does Engage work with my pub's till?
Epos Now, Lightspeed X-Series, Square, Loyverse and Oracle Simphony send sales to Engage, and Toast and Lightspeed K-Series check offer codes at the till. If your till is not listed, including Zonal Aztec, tell us: guests are still known from WiFi, and offers redeem by staff PIN or the staff web app.
How do offers redeem at Epos Now and Lightspeed?
Epos Now reads redemptions back from synced sales. Lightspeed X-Series receives codes pushed into the till, and Lightspeed K-Series checks codes live at the till. Till redemption is a pilot the Purple team sets up with you.
Can I import my existing mailing list?
Yes, by CSV. The import records which channels each guest's consent covers and who attested to it, so consent for email is not treated as consent for texts. The suppression list survives re-import.
