Automation and data

Pipedream + Purple Engage

Connect Engage with your custom workflows.

What connects with Engage

Eight Engage triggers start workflows, and workflows can create or update guests, tag them, record events, set consent and enrol guests in journeys.

Put the connection to work

Two ways to use Pipedream with your Engage marketing.

React to an Engage event

Start a Pipedream workflow when Engage sends an event.

Write the result back

Create or update guests, tag them, record events, set consent or enrol guests in a journey from your workflow.

From connection to campaign

Start with one useful workflow. Check the data and the consent it carries, then approve what your AI team prepares.

  1. Connect your account

Use an account with permission to connect Pipedream. Choose the venues or data sources you want to use.

  2. Check the data and permissions

Review a sample record and confirm the relevant marketing permissions before adding people to campaigns.

  3. Approve the first campaign

Let your AI team prepare the work and, by default, approve each action before it reaches a guest.

Questions

What connects between Pipedream and Engage?

Eight Engage triggers start workflows, and workflows can create or update guests, tag them, record events, set consent and enrol guests in journeys.

Do I need Purple WiFi?

No. Engage works with customer data from your existing tools. WiFi is an optional source of guest and visit data.

Who controls the campaigns?

By default, you approve each action and campaign before it reaches a guest or spends money, and the AI can never launch or fund an ad. External assistants connected through MCP can read, draft and ask for approval, never send.
